The Division 2 – Maintenance – July 28th, 2020

Patch Notes

  • Fixed an issue where The Chimera boss would not drop collectibles during Manhunt mission.
  • Fixed an issue where Roosevelt Legendary Projects would not be completed.
  • Fixed an issue where True Patriot set with Full Flag would cause a damaging explosion on the Agent if one of their skills was destroyed.
    • This is a relevant fix for PvP as well, since it could potentially kill your teammates.
  • Fixed an issue that doubled the Spotter Talent damage increase for skill damage.
  • Fixed an issue with the Future Initiative set that caused the Ground Control Talent to trigger when healing deploying skills.
  • Fixed an issue with the Mantis Exotic that allowed it to be recalibrated.

PVP only:

  • Dodge City Gunslinger’s Holster Quick Draw damage per stack bonus lowered from 1% to 0.1% in PvP.
  • Negotiator’s Dilemma now deals the correct amount of damage in PvP.
  • Eclipse Protocol’s Indirect Transmission talent will now transfer the correct amount of damage and duration when spreading multiple status effects.
  • First Blood Marksman Rifle talent now disabled.
    • Developer comment: We will revisit First Blood’s PvP behavior in the future, but for now we felt it necessary to disable it entirely when in the Dark Zone or a Conflict match.
  • Decreased pistol damage by 22%
  • Decreased rifle damaged by 30%
  • Decreased Classic M1A damage by 12.5%
  • Decreased marksman rifle damage by 30%
  • Decreased Nemesis damage by 11%
    • Developer comment: These changes should help make fighting against 1-shot builds less frustrating in PvP, and instead reward skilled marksmanship when landing headshots, and not just shots to the body.

The Division 2 update 10.1 details new balance changes, bug fixes

Content

This is an in-between patch between TU10 and TU11 and therefore it is not a patch that introduces new content but is more of a bug-fix and balancing patch.

Adjustments / Balancing

Rifle Ammo Capacity Increase

With Title Update 10.1 the Rifles will get an ammo capacity increase

Loadout Swapping & Skill Cooldown

This is fixed and you will be able to switch your loadout even when the Skills are on cooldown.

Revive Hive

  • Reduce the number of charges at level 0 from 4 to 1
  • Reduce the recharge time from 240s to 180s (3min)
  • This way you only need to wait for 3 min to change the Skill and not 16 min.
  • You can still revive yourself or one teammate but not the whole squad with a level 0 Revive Hive
  • You get 1 additional charge per Skill Tier. (7 players on Tier 6)

Foundry Bulwark Gear Set

  • It is a powerful set and overall they are happy with it
  • The 3 Piece Bonus (+3% Armor Regeneration) is a bit too generous in keeping players alive
  • The Foundry Bulwark focuses on using a shield and that is why the 3-piece-bonus is reduced to +1% Armor Regeneration but the shield health is increased by 50% by the 3-piece-bonus
  • So what you lose in self-preservation without a shield, you gain when you use a shield.
  • Also when you have 3 pieces of Foundry Bulwark equipped, you basically gain a Skill Tier for your shield with the 50% shield health bonus.

Forge named holster

  • Currently increases Shield Health by 10%, with TU10.1, it will increase Shield Health by 50%
  • So basically like another Skill Tier for the Shield.
  • This can also be combined with Motherly Love

Booster Hive Changes

  • On live Booster Hive increases Weapon Damage, Weapon Handling, and Melee Damage by 10 – 16% depending on Skill Tier.
  • With TU10.1 the Booster Hive will keep Weapon Handling and Melee Damage but it will lose the Weapon Damage component – it will gain Hazard Protection.
  • Every time the Booster Hive buffs you, you gain – at Skill Tier 0 – 20% Hazard Protection, 20% Weapon Handling and 20% Melee Damage
  • At Skill Tier 6 you gain 60% Hazard Protection, Weapon Handling, and Melee Damage
  • It does not give you immunity and it does not cleanse but it should give the Booster Hive a place on the battlefield.
  • With mods, you get 90% Hazard Protection.
  • This applies to PVP and PVE

Hive Skill Platform

  • Increased drone flight speed for all Skill Variants
  • Will increase more per Skill Tier
  • So all Hive Variants will be more responsive

Headhunter

  • No planned changes for Headhunter

PVP Changes

Assault Rifle Buff

  • Assault Rifle damage will be increased by 9% in PVP
  • This helps to give them enough power to be used in middle ranges

Firestarter Chem Launcher

  • Explosive Damage is lowered by 50% in PVP
  • It was lowered by that high amount because Firestarter ignores cover, you have many charges on high Skill Tier and it does a lot of damage.
  • Sticky Bomb could be an alternative here

Striker Drone

  • 38% damage increase in PVP
  • This way the Drone can keep up with the Turret in terms of damage

All Deployed Skills

  • Will now take four times more damage from hostile players.
  • So this should make it easier to shoot down these skills

Riot Foam Chem Launcher

  • They see requests to nerf the Riot Foam
  • They are hoping the Booster Hive should help with that topic
  • Hazard Protection will lower the time you are stuck in Riot Foam and you can also break out in 1 Second.
  • They are still discussing if the base ensnare duration should be lowered, but there is a mechanic to break out and you don’t have to endure the full ensnare duration.

Loot Changes

Pre-Title Update 10

  • Before Title Update 10 bad rolls had high chance and high-quality loot had a low chance to drop
  • That meant that there is a high chance that the loot was bad.
  • This is what they wanted to address with Title Update 10

Title Update 10

  • In Title Update 10 they’ve adjusted the drop chances so that there are fewer rolls at the minimum Quality (yellow area), you have better chances to get medium quality (green area) but you have also a lower chance to get maxed out rolls (red area)
  • So while the average loot quality was better (green) when you are really in the min-maxing process (red) you had a lower chance to get the maxed out god-rolls.
  • That was also obvious in level 30 loot.

Title Update 10.1

  • With TU 10.1 they’ve increased the minimum-rolls so the overall loot quality will be better.
  • On top of that, there will be a better chance that you get the maxed out rolls.
  • This will also apply to the Dark Zone
  • Rainbow Items are completely random and they can’t control that at the moment, but they are looking at that for Title Update 11.

Caches

  • The Caches will also get better loot with TU10.1
  • Field Proficiency and Dark Zone Caches will be on par with heroic tier loot
  • Clan Caches will be between heroic and legendary loot quality

Exotic Drops

  • It has been reported that players often get the Exotic item they are NOT looking for – for example they are looking for the Bighorn in Legendary and get a Pestilence.
  • That is why they moved the random Exotic drops from the boss loot into Exotic Caches that can drop as mission rewards.
  • This does not change how many exotics you get, as in the chance of them dropping, but when you see an exotic drop from a boss, it should be the one that you are expecting or the one from targeted loot.

Rainbow Six Siege Patch 2.2 Notes

Patch 2.2 will be deployed on Monday, July 23rd for PC, and July 24th for consoles. The primary focus on this patch is balancing changes and bug fixes.

GAMEPLAY CHANGES

ADVANCED DRONE DEPLOYMENT

Players will now have the option of not being immediately pulled into their drone’s camera after deploying it.

  • Standard: Will pull players into drone view immediately following deployment of their drone.
  • Advanced: Players will need to manually enter the drone’s camera after deployment.
  • OBSERVATION TOOL CYCLING

Players will now be able to select their preference for rotating through the Observation Tool groups, as well as cycle through the first and last Defender cameras.

Following the implementation of the new Observation Tool system, we have seen players express that they have two different expectations for how the cycling of the Observation Tools should function. Some players would like to see the “next tool” key bind stay within the same group, while others would like to see it cycle to the next grouping.

    RESET KEY BINDINGS (PC)

The enter Observation Tool key bind can be found in the Operator Control section, and the Exit Observation Tool key can be found in the Observation Tool Control.

With the introduction of the new Observation Tool System, we split the key bindings section into three groups, General, Operator Control, Observation Tool Control. Enter/Exit Observation Tool was not split between Operator and Observation Tool controls, which led to that key bind not responding as expected.

Below you will find the bulleted list of balancing changes in 2.2. For a detailed explanation of why we have made these changes, please reference the Designer’s Notes, found here .

Modern Warfare Remastered needs Infinite Warfare disc to run

The non-digital special editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will require the Infinite Warfare disc to be in the tray to access the highly anticipated Modern Warfare Remastered that is included, Activision confirmed today.

The publisher issued a clarified FAQ about how the updated 2007 classic is accessed when both launch Nov. 4. New fine print outlining the disc-insert requirement appeared on Call of Duty’s official website over the weekend.

Notably, Modern Warfare Remastered must be downloaded fully from PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4’s physical version of the Infinite Warfare special editions. For the Xbox One version, Modern Warfare Remastered is on the Infinite Warfare disc, but requires an additional download before it can be played.

In both cases, the user needs an Internet connection to play Modern Warfare Remastered.

For the Steam edition, “A Steam key will be provided in the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare that will provide access to both Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered.” The FAQ doesn’t say if the games are accessed separately or if Modern Warfare Remastered is accessed through the Infinite Warfare client.

These distinctions are important as they make clear that not only is buying either the Legacy, Digital Legacy, Legacy Pro or Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare the only way to acquire Modern Warfare Remastered, console users buying the Legacy or Legacy Pro edition must keep their disc if they want to play it. Activision’s bundling scheme thwarts any plan to acquire one of the special editions, download Modern Warfare Remastered, keep that and then sell the remainder on the gray market or trade it in for store credit.

Further, it appears that the 30-day preview of Modern Warfare Remastered’s campaign is limited only to those who pre-purchase a digital edition including it on PlayStation Store. The preview enticement was offered to PlayStation 4 owners back at E3 where it was assumed that the physical editions (Legacy and Legacy Pro) would be included. There is a Digital Legacy Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition for PS4.

COD: Infinite Warfare Reveal Trailer with COD4 Remastered Confirmed

It was already confirmed days ago that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered was coming with the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare release on November 4th, 2016 but at the end of this reveal trailer includes some clips of it.

It’s been many years since I’ve bothered to play Call of Duty multiplayer, COD in general or even buy it but I will be buying this one for the sole reason of COD4 Remastered. That’s all. It’s the best title to ever exist especially multiplayer in the entire series hands down. Great times back then. (:

Rumour: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare release date leaked; includes ‘Modern Warfare Remastered

The release date and cover art for this year’s Call of Duty, rumoured to be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, appears to have leaked online.

The image, posted on Reddit earlier today, appears to show a pre-order card for the ‘Legacy Edition’ of the unannounced game from US retailer Target, revealing a Friday, November 4 release date and the game’s cover.

But as well as the date, it also reveals that a remastered version of 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be included with an upcoming ‘Legacy Edition’. Pricing information for the Legacy Edition is not included.

Neither Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or Modern Warfare Remastered have yet been announced by Activision, although a reveal is expected before next Tuesday. The game is currently in development at Infinity Ward.

If this ends up being true, this will be fucking awesome. COD4 is easily hands down the best Call of Duty of the series. Everything was near-perfect back then especially the maps, perks and weapons.

The Division Season Pass content includes three expansion packs, new gear & events

Ubisoft has outlined the list of content included with The Division’s Season Pass, confirming that Season Pass owners will gain access to three upcoming expansion packs, additional gear and exclusive “monthly perks.”

While dates for the expansions have yet to be confirmed, the first, called ‘Underground’, will let a squad of four players “explore new territory in a post-epidemic New York City underworld.”

The second, meanwhile, which is titled ‘Survival’, will task players with surviving “a hostile environment that will challenge even the most hardcore Division players.” We know nothing about the third expansion, however, besides the name ‘Last Stand’.

Season Pass owners will also gain access to an exclusive sawed-off shotgun, new outfits and weapon skins at launch, plus ongoing “monthly perks in the form of exclusive content drops and events.”

Free updates are planned for throughout 2016, too, introducing new game modes built around co-op challenges.

A price for the Season Pass has yet to be confirmed, but it is currently available with the game’s Gold and Collector’s Editions. It isn’t yet clear how much each expansion pack will cost, either.

The Division launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 8. A closed beta launched on Xbox One earlier today, and is due to go live on PS4 and PC today.
