Treyarch’s Viral Site gknova6.com has been updated with an age verification process. Once you have entered, you will notice the following video which is shown this post.

This now confirms that Zombies will in fact be apart of the upcoming Call of Duty title “Black Ops.” You may of already figured zombies would be a part of Black Ops too when it was released not too long ago that if you purchased the Hardened or Prestige versions of Call of Duty when it comes out (or pre-ordered) that it would also include the 4 maps of Zombie Mode from Call of Duty: World at War. Well not you know, if you did not.

Either way, this is great news and you can expect Treyarch to add even more to Zombies all together than what they did before in World at War too. I think zombie mode will be a lot more fun than it already was.

Zombies Return to Call of Duty: Black Ops

The Zombies mode from Call of Duty: World at War will return with all 4 maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops. But you must purchase either the Hardened or Prestige Editions of the game. Otherwise, it looks like you will have to purchase these 4 maps as downloadable content.

Modern Warfare 2 will feature third-person mode for playlists

The upcoming release of Modern Warfare 2 will feature third-person mode for multiplayer playlists.

You never want to bring a third person along on a date — not unless that date happens to be November 10th. Infinity Ward’s community manager Robert Bowling (A.K.A. fourzerotwo) has taken control and confirmed that a third-person camera viewpoint will be available in this holiday’s monolithic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, though it’ll be limited to specifically labeled online playlists.

“It’s not something you can toggle on and off in ANY game,” said Bowling. The special mode can only be played in private matches — toggled on or off just like “Hardcore” settings — or in playlists that are designated for third-person play. According to Bowling, everyone playing in a third-person playlist will be restricted to the viewpoint. “This is just another cool way to play the game,” he said, “you obviously will still have the option to play gametypes normal as well.”

Our friend, the internet, has an inscrutable video of some person running around in third person, but you’re probably better off waiting for the “awesome trailer” the folks at Infinity Ward have planned.

World at War co-op mode puts you against Nazi zombies

Last night’s episode of GameTrailers TV brought straight from the mouth of Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia — Call of Duty: World at War will contain a four-player, co-op zombie (of the Nazi variety) survival mode.

Those who currently aren’t busy scraping pieces of their blown mind off of the wall behind them will probably be interested in a few details Lamia mentioned — the gameplay mode (which is unlocked upon the completion of the single player campaign) will place four players in a central structure, then assail them with wave upon wave of undead national socialists. Throughout the game, players will collect money which can be used to fortify their compound, or purchase new weapons. Also, there will be Nazi zombies.

Chapter Four of last night’s GTTV episode. They talk about the 4 player co-op zombie mode a few minutes into it after the Mirror’s Edge preview.
