Modern Warfare 3 Improved Spawn Logic tonight

Robert Bowling has informed us on Twitter that Modern Warfare 3 will be getting an update to its spawn logic system tonight at 2AM PST/4AM CST/5AM EST on January 6th, 2012. This will improve when, where and how you spawn so “Goodbye revenge spawns” as Robert Bowling says.

MW3′s First DLC Map Pack “Park” Screenshot

Yesterday we got a sneak peak at one of the map’s in the first downloadable content (DLC) to arrive for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at the end of January 2012.

The screenshot is from a map called “Park” and this DLC will also 4 other multiplayer maps called Concrete, Italy, Overwatch and Morning Wood.

MW3 will get 20 DLC packs over 9 months

The PlayStation EU Blog has posted information for new content on November 9th, 2011. It also had a little information as to what is in store to come for Modern Warfare 3 DLC content.

Call of Duty ELITE 1-Year Premium Subscription consists of:
All the MW3 DLC (20 pieces) during the 9-month DLC season starting early 2012. Includes multiplayer and special ops maps

This means that we will see 2 new multiplayer maps and spec ops missions around twice a month.

If you have the Call of Duty ELITE service you will get all this DLC for free. Otherwise, you can possibly expect all of this DLC content to be slightly cheaper than the past.

IGN is bringing you an exclusive video that was live the other day showing you 5 of the multiplayer maps in MW3. These multiplayer maps are Seatown, Mission, Hardhat, Bakara and Interchange. This video will also show you the game modes called Kill Confirmed, Team Deathmatch, Survival/Spec Ops modes and more, plus a never-before seen single player level!

Black Ops Escalation DLC Multiplayer Preview

Here’s the first look at Call of Duty Black Ops Upcoming Map Pack 2 called Escalation in High Definition video.

This map pack comes out May 3rd, 2011 for 1200 MSP or $15. Also, don’t forget there will be a Double XP weekend at the end of that week, May 6th, 2011.

Black Ops First Strike Multiplayer Maps Trailer

Here is the first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC called “First Strike” that comes out exclusively to Xbox 360 (for a month) on February 1st, 2011. In this video Treyarch talks about the 4 new multiplayer maps but leaves out information and video about the Zombie map being release with the map pack.

Better shown and explained in the video, Kowloon will be the only map to feature ziplines to be used, Discovery will feature breakable surfaces and the Berlin Wall will have automatic turrets setup.

Free Black Ops Xbox Live multiplayer weekend coming Jan. 28-30

Activision announced that it will be hosting a free Xbox Live multiplayer weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops on the last weekend of January 2011, the 28th through 30th. Check out the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops sneak peak video, this time taking you into a lot of the different customizations that you can do in the game. This includes all the possible customizations you can do to your character and not only just your weapon.

This is awesome to finally be able to do this in a Call of Duty game. Now while you have slightly been able to customize your weapon in the past Call of Duty games, it has never been to this extent nor was it in Modern Warfare 2 either. So to be able to do this much more, especially finally with your character as well, is really awesome.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Multiplayer Teaser, Reveals Recording

Take a look at the first multiplayer teaser for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops by Treyarch.

One of the greatest features this video reveals is the ability to record your gameplay, just like in Halo 3, Madden and very, very few other games. This works great for a lot of people, tough does not matter myself as I will still obtain better quality by using my HD-High Definition Capture Card instead.

You will notice a LOT of similarities to Modern Warfare 2 which is expect by the same engine and Treyarch needs to keep up with what people want. You will also notice a few new killstreaks, such as the RV bomb by just killing 3 people without dieing or possibility 2, if Treyarch has a Perk related to Hardline or not.
