This is great news! I do not know what person thought it would be fun at all to everyone to have to play in a variety of game modes in order to just play the new maps. Thank you for listening to the community on solely this one issue Infinity Ward! Thank you!

Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 Update Released

February 12th, 2010 admin No comments

Here are the changes, the same as last time. This patch does not include the PERMANENT care package exploit as Infinity Ward has been working on. But it does fix the current easy simple way for the infinite care package exploit.

  • Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.
  • Fix for “infinite care package” exploit.
  • Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.
  • Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
  • Fixes to prevent various XP hacks (including the prevention of negative XP)

  • Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
  • Improved player collision removing cases of getting into geometry and ‘elevators’.
  • Fix to prevent various XP hacks, including the prevention of obtaining negative XP.
  • Mouse latency tweaks for more mouse movement consistency. (PC-ONLY)
  • Fixes to prevent various texture hacks (PC-ONLY)

MW2 update in testing, private match fix, model 1887′s balanced

December 16th, 2009 admin No comments

Robert “fourzerotwo” Bowling has just tweeted information on the upcoming Modern Warfare 2 update for 360, PS3 and PC.

#MW2 Update in Test now: 1887s Balanced. Public “private” Match fix. Infinite Ammo fix. Prestige Hack on PS3 fix. Texture Hack on PC fix.

I’m really happy as well as most of you I’m sure, to see the “private” match crap get fixed. The new infinite ammo will be fixed too (which I did not experience yet, thank god). As my previous post stated, the Model 1887′s are for sure getting balanced! I just hope they get it right this time.

Call of Duty 4 Title Update – Hack and Mod Free

May 2nd, 2009 admin No comments

Robert Bowling (fourzerotwo) just tweeted that the Call of Duty 4 Title Update for Xbox 360 is now Hack and Mod free. Not that I personally came across this (maybe) but at least I will not now. If you are unfamiliar Call of Duty: World at War had the same similar update last week in its update to fix the same thing going on with hacks and mods there too.

Call of Duty: World at War Title Update

April 24th, 2009 admin No comments

This title update not only finally hopefully fixes the matchmaking issues but as well as the recent hacking being done. While I and other bRos have not been playing this game lately because of life, boredom, annoying matchmaking and everything else. There was not mention of having fixed host selection issues but hopefully with matchmaking that will be resolved.

At least the hacking (hopefully) will not be there. While this was not a HUGE problem with everyone being able to do it without some work, it still would of been annoying to get teamed up against them. If you would like to find out much more details, please click the source link below.

CoD:WaW Map Pack 1 and Title Update Tonight

March 18th, 2009 admin No comments

At 8AM CST (9AM EST, 6AM PST) in the morning Treyarch’s Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 will be released along with a title update. With this new map pack for 800MS points, you get 3 new maps to play online with and 1 new map for Zombie mode.

The title update addresses the following issues:

  • Improvements have been made to the global spawn system – players should never spawn within the line of sight of an enemy.
  • Players who equip the Bouncing Betty and melee teammates in Hardcore game modes are now credited with a team kill penalty.
  • Players are now deducted 200 points for team killing the bomb planter/defuser in Hardcore S&D.
  • Martyrdom no longer causes “direct impact” grenade deaths in Hardcore modes.
  • Players ranked higher than the maximum allowed in the Boot Camp playlist are no longer able to play in games with lower ranked friends in that playlist.
  • “Bayonet jumping” has been disabled.
  • Further improvements have been made to geographical matchmaking.
  • The “New” icon clears when a player has viewed an unlocked weapon (X360 only).
  • Many zombies were raised from the dead.

Xbox 360 Fall Update News!

July 14th, 2008 admin No comments

Microsoft announced some awesome new features at E3 today for it’s upcoming update to Xbox 360 this Fall.

What’s new? (Read more at MajorNelson.com and Xbox.com)

New Dashboard Interface. I provided a picture courtesy of Engadget below. Check out a video preview here.
Group Chat. (up to 8 people, Live Party System) Finally?! Create a party of up to eight friends, and stay with them from one game to another, or watch a Netflix movie together, or share a slideshow of your personal photos. It works with all Xbox 360 titles, not just upcoming games. LIVE Party allows up to eight people to chat in the dashboard, so you can meet up before playing.
Play from hard drive Copy your games from the game disc and play directly from the hard drive. Not only will the drive not spin, but load times are quicker, as well. Of course, you will still need the disc in the tray to prove you own the game.
Dashboard built into the new Xbox Guide. For everyone who loves the blades interface, it’s not going away; they are now built directly in to the new Xbox guide. Every feature and option is available right from the guide.
Access Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the Web. Browse and purchase Marketplace content whenever you want from Xbox.com and it downloads automatically to your console. Purchase that new map, television episode, the latest Xbox LIVE Arcade game or set up a movie to watch when you get home from work.
Netflix Movies. There will be free titles, not sure if all but there will be some.
Xbox LIVE Primetime. This whole new category of games is going to give you more reasons to get online with your friends. Games will support everything you’d expect, like Achievements and leader boards, but many of these games will include real prizes. You can invite your friends, and even set a reminder for an upcoming show. Each game is broadcast simultaneously, so everyone is answering the same questions. Many events will have a live host, calling the shots as they happen.
Avatars. Your online identity started as a Gamertag – it then grew into a personalized Gamercard. Now, it has evolved even further into avatars. You can express your style, check out new outfits and share this with the community. Avatars will also be integrated into Xbox LIVE Arcade games, LIVE Party, as well as retail games.
    New display support.
    and more to come!

Here’s a picture of the new dashboard interface.
