Call of Duty: WaW map pack to include new zombie level
You may remember last month when the above message was seen on construction signs in Austin, a winking reference to Call of Duty: World at War’s zombie-annihilating multiplayer mode. Though the staff behind the game says they had nothing to do with the prank, the sentiment isn’t far off the mark. Developer Treyarch notes that a new DLC map pack — arrives “soon” — will include a fresh zombie level.
So, if you’re tired of seeing exploded zombie heads plastered all over the same old backgrounds, the dev says “to stay tuned for official word regarding upcoming DLC.” We’ll let you know what we hear.

Infinity Ward drops some new “Modern Warfare 2” chatter
Robert “Fourzerotwo” Bowling, director of communications and community manager at Infinity Ward, has updated his Twitter feed with word that he’s been reviewing voice-over from Modern Warfare 2. As in the sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that Activision still hasn’t properly announced.
Bowling’s tweet reads, “Reviewing some radio-chatter VO we just finished recording for Modern Warfare 2 today. ‘Cujo Two-One this is Vulture, solid copy on all.'” As you may remember, Heroes actor Ken Lally got into hot water for talking about VO he was doing for the game late last month.
And so the saga of one of gaming’s most recent Worst Kept Secrets continues. Oh, and Activision, it goes like this: official announcement in the spring, magazine cover and first look event shortly thereafter, full reveal at E3. That one’s on the house.

CoD 4 versus CoD WaW Usage
World At War Sees Less Play Than CoD4? According to GamerDNA analyst Sanya Weathers, who is a former Director of Community for Mythic Entertainment, 64.7 percent of its sampled members have played CoD4 since its November 2007 launch.
“At least ten million copies of the game have sold, but that figure represents sales across all platforms (Gears was initially available only on the Xbox 360, as Gears 2 is at the present time),” Weathers notes. “It too offers a multiplayer component.”
Sales figures for Call of Duty: World at War are harder to pin down, although recent compiled NPD data noted that it sold 4.63 million copies across all formats in the U.S. in 2008. 23 percent of GamerDNA members played World at War title 49 days after its release. But Call Of Duty 4, at the same point in its cycle, had garnered 42 percent of the population.

Nate Robinson plays CoD5 on Xbox Live
New York Knicks point guard Nate Robinson apparently enjoys playing the video game Call of Duty 5 on Xbox Live.
According to Al Trautwig of the MSG television station, Robinson was playing COD5 against some random other player via the internet, and told the guy who he was. Naturally, the guy doubted he was playing with a real NBA player.
So, according to Trautwig, Robinson told the guy that to prove it’s really him, he’d do a COD5 salute during his next free throws. And Saturday evening, as the Knicks were in Philadelphia playing against the 76ers, Robinson did just that, in the second quarter. Hopefully, that gamer was watching.

A new Xbox 360 Arcade game came out this past Wednesday and for free.
It is called Dash of Destruction, you can click that link to go to the Online Marketplace and set it to download to your 360 when you turn it on if not home right now.
This is the easiest 200 achievement points most likely ever in an arcade game. It should not take you more than 15 minutes to gain them all.

CoD4 “complete”, no more updates
We will not be seeing anymore updates out of Infinity Ward for CoD4. Meaning, no new playlists and no new maps. This is pretty much certain as fourzerotwo himself strongly suggested this.
They have already moved onto their next project (CoD6). It is not like most have not known this for a while though, we were only given one map pack, which was not that great to say the least. We stopped playing CoD4 anyways at the beginning of October 2008.
