Xbox 360 Fall Update News!

Microsoft announced some awesome new features at E3 today for it’s upcoming update to Xbox 360 this Fall.
What’s new? (Read more at MajorNelson.com and Xbox.com)

New Dashboard Interface. I provided a picture courtesy of Engadget below. Check out a video preview here.
Group Chat. (up to 8 people, Live Party System) Finally?! Create a party of up to eight friends, and stay with them from one game to another, or watch a Netflix movie together, or share a slideshow of your personal photos. It works with all Xbox 360 titles, not just upcoming games. LIVE Party allows up to eight people to chat in the dashboard, so you can meet up before playing.
Play from hard drive Copy your games from the game disc and play directly from the hard drive. Not only will the drive not spin, but load times are quicker, as well. Of course, you will still need the disc in the tray to prove you own the game.
Dashboard built into the new Xbox Guide. For everyone who loves the blades interface, it’s not going away; they are now built directly in to the new Xbox guide. Every feature and option is available right from the guide.
Access Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the Web. Browse and purchase Marketplace content whenever you want from Xbox.com and it downloads automatically to your console. Purchase that new map, television episode, the latest Xbox LIVE Arcade game or set up a movie to watch when you get home from work.
Netflix Movies. There will be free titles, not sure if all but there will be some.
Xbox LIVE Primetime. This whole new category of games is going to give you more reasons to get online with your friends. Games will support everything you’d expect, like Achievements and leader boards, but many of these games will include real prizes. You can invite your friends, and even set a reminder for an upcoming show. Each game is broadcast simultaneously, so everyone is answering the same questions. Many events will have a live host, calling the shots as they happen.
Avatars. Your online identity started as a Gamertag – it then grew into a personalized Gamercard. Now, it has evolved even further into avatars. You can express your style, check out new outfits and share this with the community. Avatars will also be integrated into Xbox LIVE Arcade games, LIVE Party, as well as retail games.
    New display support.
    and more to come!
Here’s a picture of the new dashboard interface.

Possible New CoD4 Playlists coming

IAMfourzerotwo is testing out some new playlists this weekend and if all goes well, we will see most of them if not all of them on Monday. You can read the full post here: IAMfourzerotwo.com among everything else you might want to know.
Bare-bones Team Deathmatch
No more excuses. No more blaming Martyrdom or Juggernaut for your lack of skills and kills. Bare Bones Team Deathmatch eliminates the excuses and takes it back to basics with standard Team Deathmatch with no perks, no kill streak rewards. Just you, your skill, and your weapons.
Hardcore HQ
Hardcore HQ requires a lot more than just spamming the HQ position with nades and running in guns blazing. Hardcore HQ encourages more tactical gameplay and communication to win with increased damage, no HUD elements, and friendly fire on.
Classic Search and Destroy
Call of Duty 2 style, with both teams starting with bombs and objectives to defend adding an entire new layer of tactics and planning to the matches as you have to not only blow up their objective, but stop your’s from being destroyed as well in the same match. Classic Search and Destroy returns the rush of defending an objective while attempting to destroy theirs.
Hardcore FFA
Even faster paced Free For Alls, where every bullet counts and playing smart is key for a solid k/d ratio. Standard Free for All rules, with Hardcore mode enabled for extra damage, no HUD, and no health re-gen.

I am a 1 man army

It is rare to find any decent Call of Duty players these days. I don’t only mean those you play against but those who you get teamed up with. Now I really felt like getting in a few games since I had sometime too. This happens a lot even when it’s just Jerry and I or me and two others too. So this isn’t uncommon what so ever but very tiring to deal with. Take a look at the screenshots.

That was only 3 minutes into the round and my team sucks, they obviously are going to win because of me. The outcome? Yes, they won cause of me. Don’t mind the guy under me, he was sniping. I would of still won the match for these losers either way, I would of enjoyed having more kills.

More proof. Played these over an hour later.

Call of Duty: World at War First Trailer

Enjoy. Doesn’t look as bad as CoD3 was by them. But no way better than CoD4. Which also, Activision will be dropping the numbers in its releases. So no CoD5, CoD6, CoD7, etc.
